Many video platforms like Kuaishou, Bilibili, Xiaoba, etc., and many other apps I can't remember have been around since the last few years. Now there are only Douyin and Kuaishou left. For this app called Xiaoba, they give 20 RMB as a reward to creators who make videos that go viral. Back then when I just started using it, I shared some funny videos on my timeline and didn't think anything of it. A few days later, I opened the app and saw that several videos had gone viral. I quickly went through all my saved videos and cashed out. Then, I started searching for more interesting videos on Kuaishou and Bilibili. I downloaded them, uploaded them to Xiaoba, and continued doing this every day. At first, it was very difficult because there was no one-click watermark removal tool. When I found an interesting video, I would download it and save it to my phone. It was pretty stable and I could earn around 500-800 RMB per day. Most of these videos were able to get popular but there was a requirement that you couldn't upload more than 30 videos daily. There were also times where some videos wouldn't go viral even though they were already popular. But back then, the popularity of videos wasn't what it is now. Videos with millions of likes would be considered hot. In those days, videos with over 100,000 views were considered hot. I spent almost a year doing this. This app reduced the rewards from 20 RMB to 5 RMB so I lost interest in it. Later, this app may have run out of money and got pulled down. |
