The game server section of Tencent Light Cloud has launched its own game server. This is a customized lightweight application server aimed at non-cloud gamers. It also meets the needs of gamers who can play immediately without too much technical knowledge! Currently, it supports four games: Paru, 7-day kill, Night Tribe Rise, and Foggy Kingdom. Each package is defined according to the number of players.

How to hack?

Since we know that this is a Windows instance, can we open RDP using password reset means?





We found that the RDP was enabled on this machine, and the IP address of this machine has been marked as an external IP by the cloud backend. So let's try it out. First, run orcaterm-rdp to connect





Then select the password-free connection, enter the command prompt





Save and then connect after saving the configuration. We can then access the shell. Since we are the control terminal, we can directly change the password. Then use net user Administrator [password] to type in the administrator account with the new password and press Enter.





Enter the system

Use RDP, then input the IP address + username + the new password entered, and you will enter the system. You will find that the instance is a Gold 6133 2-core 8GB memory instance.





And Paru uses SteamCMD to start.

Tencent Light Cloud did not use Docker to encapsulate and implement control. Instead, they provided an independent IP Windows lightweight cloud server.
