Service: BVN+NIN (40U)
BVN (Bank Verification Number): A system launched by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2014 to ensure the security of bank accounts through biometric identification (e.g., fingerprints, facial recognition). Its main purpose is to prevent identity theft and financial fraud.
NIN (National Identity Number): A national identification number issued by the National Identification Management Commission. It is used to confirm and record the identity of Nigerian citizens and legal residents.
For Chinese residents of Nigeria, it can be used for:
1. Exchange (bybit, bitget, OKX, Binance etc.) to register;
2. Nigerian bank wallets (chipper, paga, palmpay, kuda, moniepoint, klasha, opay, cardify etc.) to register;
3. Any platform that supports Nigerian citizen certification (such as Ucard platform, walkar platform etc.).
Service: Registering BVN+NIN, which allows printing an electronic document and providing Nigerian utility bills for address verification (Total price: 40U).
PS: The BVN+NIN registered with the Nigerian official database on the website and can be verified. There's also a Nigerian passport available, but it's more expensive if you have both BVN+NIN and is recommended not to buy one.
