I'm going to Hong Kong for a few days and plan on opening a bank account there. Do you think it's necessary to bring back a local phone card? Can I get text messages in mainland China with it? I want to register an account with the Hong Kong-based PayPal. If so, do any of you have recommendations for cheap Hong Kong phone cards?
