Can noise downstairs disturb upstairs?

The noise downstairs can be heard in the room above?
Every day there is a sound of moving tables and chairs, as well as a loud sound like a door being closed or someone speaking loudly can be heard.
I live on floor 16, C unit. The other residents have 15C, 16A, 16B, 16D, 17A, and 17B.
Now I cannot determine exactly where the noise is coming from, it's really annoying.
Brothers and sisters, how do you determine where the noise is coming from!
