What is the problem with opening a stock account in Alipay?

Are you familiar with any of the recent advertisements from Alipay promoting stock brokerage? I am wondering if after opening up, can one directly purchase stocks through the Alipay小程序 instead of downloading and using a securities app? Also, could one link their Alibaba Cloud account to Alipay so that funds do not have to be transferred to other bank cards?
