What's the catch with mobile broadband? Compare to China Unicom.

I have been using the same联通AAA number for 20 years. Everything is good except for the signal. It's terrible in underground garages and remote scenic areas. I am planning to switch to a prepaid plan, then get a new mobile card and switch to a mobile broadband service. (Currently, my home is connected to 200mb on a联通 plan, while my new mobile card will have 300mb of mobile broadband.) Could you please tell me about the mobile broadband plans for us vps, IDC players? Are there any traps we should be aware of when it comes to security, high walls, blocking, etc.?
