I am 19 years old, with a middle school education. After graduating from junior high school, I applied to a private senior high school, where I didn't know how to navigate the social scene and ended up dropping out for a while. Over time, my family intervened and I was able to attend a public high school as an in-patient. At school, I felt like I was just going through the motions and eventually graduated from a part-time college. I worked at a weak point for a few months before quitting due to low pay. Now, I'm staying home and doing nothing but scrolling on my phone. My previous employers were all paid less than me and now I don't have any goals. My parents aren't really taking care of me anymore. As long as they can see me, that's enough. I want to go back to school again, but I've forgotten most of what I learned there. My parents don't want me to continue attending school either. What should I do? |
