Is Firewall so bad? It hangs all the time and infects the entire PC with worms.

I've never turned it off and I've never reported any virus, but lately it's acting strange. When I open it up, there seems to be an odd program that is consuming a lot of resources. After checking it out, I didn't recognize it at all. The next morning, I deleted it and then opened an exe file. Firewall detected the malware again. It must have been infected when you were using it, because when it was finished infecting, it would report the malware. If you're going to use it, just leave it alone; if you want to get rid of it, go for it.
