Buy a house or give up?

Currently 33 years old, unmarried, and unable to find someone, I might just be unable to find anyone at all. My parents have paid for a down payment of around 20-30 thousand dollars, and my monthly income is around 4000 yuan. In the city, the housing price is about 7-8 thousand yuan per square meter, while in the county town it's around 3-4 thousand yuan per square meter. At present, I live in rented accommodation, with an apartment rental fee of 800 yuan per month and a water and electricity bill of 1100 yuan. If we were to buy a house, we would definitely consider buying in the city, as we don't have any intention of considering buying in the county town. As for whether or not we will buy a house in this current market condition, I am afraid that it's hard to say.
