A small N100 computer, with 256GB HDD and 16GB RAM, costs only around $80. It's much more expensive to buy one for a chicken, especially if you have good lines. Buying a bunch of chickens is not something that can be done all year round. The cost per year would add up to several N100s. Why not just buy a line better main server and a backup? The rest can be bought at a N100 price and be used for PVE. IPv6 connections will run your VPS faster than the broken shared CPU by a hundred times! You'll save a whole N100 in two years, and it still beats a N100 five years later. By then, you can sell it for $200 on the secondary market.
