The Marriage Registration Regulations (Draft Amendment)

Article 8: A person applying for marriage registration in the People's Republic of China shall submit the following documents and written materials:
(One) The individual's ID card;
(Second) Declaration that the applicant has no spouse or close relatives, including first-degree blood relations and third-generation collateral relations, signed by oneself.

The draft shows that only two documents need to be prepared to register.
