This house has been lived in for more than a year, an off-plan property, when someone came to the door at midnight and said it was her, we were asked to leave today. This person lives across from us. I contacted my landlord this morning but he says that they paid for the property in 2015 with a purchase agreement, and should continue living there. It seems that the contract signed by another person might have been between them and the person who brought the property's title (uncertain though). The person seemed not to have any title documents before, and now they seem to be new ones with the newly issued one being brand new and fresh, as per their landlord's understanding. The landlord thinks that this family got the title of the property first, then planned to go to court. Should we move or stay? |
